Completing the Structure – a look into concrete

The concrete structure at The Perry has now reached completion. The assembly involves a range of components - from mobilization to formwork to flyforms to rebar – that present their own set of parts and associated trade.

Formwork is installed in parts to support the concrete pour. As concrete is poured wet, it needs to be encased while it cures.

Concrete columns and walls have finished curing, formwork is removed. Steel reinforcing bars protrudes for further integration with additional concrete walls and floors above.

Completed concrete column based formed to accept additional concrete above. Steel reinforcing bars to be integrated with vertical steel rebar.

Concrete precast stairs. Precast stairs are created off site, and installed on site. Steel hangers are cast into the concrete and lifted with the crane.
